Purpose of the Fund

The CPPS Heritage Mission Fund created in 2017, has been established as a 501(c)(3) corporation according to the Rules and Code of Regulations established by the State of Ohio. Managed by a Board of Directors, the purpose of the CHMF Corporation is:

To administer the CPPS Heritage Mission Fund in order to support ministerial endeavors that reflect the spirituality, mission and values of the Sisters of the Precious Blood and to enable the CPPS Heritage Mission Fund to continue beyond the existence of the Sisters of the Precious Blood.

Requests made to the CHMF for financial support through grants must first of all originate from a 501(c)(3) entity and must have similar values that resonate with the values important to the Sisters of the Precious Blood.

The values flow from the essence of what is Precious Blood Spirituality … “the redeeming love of Jesus”… and are exhibited by the lives and ministries of the Sisters of the Precious Blood. These guiding values are listed and explained under the section of this Website entitled Grantmaking.
